Subsea Ecosystem Development Program Kicks Off at MWC 2025 to Build Indonesia’s Digital Talent

SEAToday.com, Barcelona – At Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, Indonesia unveiled a comprehensive Subsea Ecosystem Development Program, signaling a major push to cultivate local digital talent and solidify its position as a key player in the global digital economy. The initiative is backed by a powerful consortium of organizations, including the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (KOMDIGI), Telkom University, GSMA, and a host of industry leaders.

Recognizing the critical role of subsea cables in the nation's digital infrastructure, the program will focus on delivering cutting-edge training, research opportunities, and hands-on experience in subsea cable technologies and related disciplines. By fostering collaboration between industry, academia, and government, the program aims to create a robust pipeline of skilled professionals capable of driving innovation and ensuring Indonesia's digital infrastructure meets international standards.
