SEAToday.com, Gaza - The number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has reached 15,899, the Gaza Health Ministry said on Monday (12/4).
The ministry's spokesman, Ashraf al-Qedra, mentioned that 70 percent of the total number of victims were children and women. He also stated that the number of injured people has increased to more than 42,000.
According to him, Israel has increased its attacks targeting hospitals and other health facilities. He also mentioned that Israel has destroyed 56 health institutions, arrested 35 medical workers, and caused the health system in the Gaza Strip to be completely paralyzed.
Al-Qedra called on the UN and WHO to protect hospitals and health and humanitarian teams, as well as provide safe passage for medical supplies and fuel and evacuate the wounded.
