11 Tewas dalam Kecelakaan antara KA dan Minibus di Lumajang, Jawa Timur

SEAToday.com, Lumajang-Kecelakaan antara mobil Isuzu Elf dengan KA Probowangi terjadi di Desa Ranupakis, Kabupaten Lumajang, Jawa Timur, Minggu malam (19/11). Akibatnya,11 penumpang mobil meninggal dunia.


Kronologinya, KA Probowangi relasi Ketapang Banyuwangi-Surabaya tersebut melaju dari arah timur ke barat. Pada saat bersamaan mobil dengan Nopol N-7646-T berjalan dari arah selatan ke utara, melintasi lintasan kereta api tanpa palang pintu.

Benturan pun tak terhindarkan. Mobil yang mengangkut belasan penumpang itu kena hantam KA Probowangi yang tengah melaju di jalurnya. Masinis sebenarnya sudah membunyikan klakson lokomotif, namun tiba-tiba mobil muncul dari arah samping, tabrakan pun tak terhindarkan.

Bangkai kendaraan sudah berhasil dievakuasi. Selain 11 korban meninggal dunia, ada 4 korban lainnya yang mengalami luka berat.
