First Kindergarten in Northern Gaza Opens Amid Israeli Attacks

SEAToday.com, Gaza-A kindergarten has opened for the first time in the northern Gaza Strip amid the ongoing brutal Israeli offensive. Siraj Al-Aqsa Kindergarten opened in an area that was the first target of Israeli air bombardment and ground attacks.

Siraj Al-Aqsa Kindergarten was one of the buildings destroyed during the initial Israeli attacks. Now, the school is running with children aged four and above and volunteer teachers. The kindergarten was also opened to provide psychological support to schoolchildren from Gaza City and other northern areas.

“Educated children receive not just education, but also entertainment-based activities and psychological support to alleviate the war's pain,” said one of the kindergarten teachers, Ikram Hale, as reported by Anadolu Agency on Saturday (5/4).
