SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Erick Thohir on Friday (12/22) launched a daycare facility at the SOEs Ministry, which he described as a gift for the mothers who are working at the Ministry.

"Alhamdulillah, mothers at the Ministry of SOEs can now utilize the daycare facility so that they can be more at peace during work," Minister Erick said.

Minister Erick explained that the daycare facility is a form of the Ministry's commitment to implementing the Employee Well-Being Policy program. Many women in the ministry have dual roles as housewives and workers, therefore it is considered appropriate that these mothers get the best service and protection at work.

"Since the beginning, we have continued to support and provide the highest appreciation for mothers who in addition to being the backbone of the economy also appropriately carry out their role as housewives," he said.

Minister Erick mentioned that this daycare has whole facilities to pamper and educate children. This daycare will also continue to be developed in coordination with the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection. He hopes that with this facility, mothers will be more at peace when working, and increase their productivity.
