SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Authority (TNBTS) will completely close all Mount Bromo tourism areas for five days during the 2025 Nyepi holiday and Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri.
This decision follows the TNBTS Circular Letter No. PG.6/T.8/TU/KSA.5.2/B/02/2025 regarding the Temporary Closure of Tourism Activities in the Entire Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Area.
According to TNBTS's official Instagram account, the closure will take place from Friday, March 28, 2025, at 00:01 AM WIB until Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM WIB. Mount Bromo tourism activities will resume on April 2, 2025, at 00:01 AM WIB.
This temporary closure aims to allow communities observing Nyepi and celebrating Eid to worship in peace without disturbances.
Tourists and tourism service providers who have planned visits during this period are advised to adjust their schedules accordingly.
"We urge the public, visitors, tourism service providers, and all related parties to take note and comply with this regulation responsibly," the Circular Letter concluded.
