Eight Bodies of Glodok Plaza Fire Victims Transferred to RS Polri Kramat Jati

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Eight bodies of victims from the fire at Glodok Plaza, which occurred on Wednesday night (1/15) on Jalan Pinangsia Raya, Mangga Besar, Tamansari, West Jakarta, have been evacuated to the Police Hospital (RS Polri) in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, by joint officers.

The Head of the Data and Information Center of the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Mohamad Yohan, stated that the identification of the bodies is currently underway at the hospital. He added that RS Polri Kramat Jati will provide further information regarding the victims' identities.

Meanwhile, the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Department (Gulkarmat) continues to monitor the condition of the building and conduct periodic searches for victims. The estimated damage caused by the fire is reported to be around IDR 90.9 billion. 

Previously, 14 people were reported missing as a result of the fire, including Ade Aryati (29), Sinta Amelia (20), Aldrinas (29), Aulia Belinda (28), Odima Yukari (25), Deri Saiki (25), Indira Seviana Bela (25), and Keren Shalom J (21). Other missing individuals include Intan Mutiara (26), Desty and Zukhi Radja (42), Chika Adinda Yustin (26), Muljadi (56), and Dian Cahyadi (38).
