SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Ministry is testing the implementation of a four-day workweek. This was shared on Instagram @lifeatkbumn on Saturday (6/8). In the post, one of the SOEs Ministry employees shared a story about the trial of working four days a week through the Compressed Work Schedule (CWS) system.
There are a number of conditions to be able to work four days a week, including working at least 40 hours in four days, getting superior’s approval, and having measurable work results. Employees of the SOE Ministry can apply for it once every two weeks.
Previously, SOE Minister Erick Thohir proposed a four-day workweek last March. Erick stated this was an effort to ensure the mental health of BUMN employees.
