Pemerintah Saudi Izinkan Jemaah Pemegang Semua Jenis Visa untuk Umrah
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kementerian Haji dan Umrah Arab Saudi mengumumkan kebijakan baru yang mempermudah akses ibadah Umrah bagi pemegang visa apa pun. Pengumuman ini disampaikan melalui media sosial resmi X milik Kementerian (@/MoHU_En), Rabu (24/4).
Konsul Jenderal Republik Indonesia (KJRI) Jeddah, Yusron B. Ambary, membenarkan informasi tersebut. Ia menjelaskan bahwa kebijakan ini merupakan penegasan kembali setelah sebelumnya Kementerian Haji dan Umrah Arab Saudi mengumumkan batas akhir berlaku visa Umrah pada tanggal 23 Mei mendatang.
Menurut Kementerian, ibadah Umrah kini dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan visa apa pun, termasuk visa pribadi, keluarga, transit, tenaga kerja, dan e-visa untuk turis. Inisiatif ini bertujuan untuk mengakomodasi jutaan umat Islam di seluruh dunia, khususnya mereka yang terkendala secara fisik dan finansial untuk melaksanakan ibadah Umrah.
Lebih lanjut, Kementerian mendorong para jemaah Umrah untuk memanfaatkan aplikasi Nusuk dalam memperoleh izin Umrah dan mematuhi aturan waktu yang telah ditentukan untuk beribadah. (DHITA/ DKD)
