Jumlah Situs Warisan Dunia UNESCO di Asia Tenggara
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Organisasi Pendidikan, Keilmuan, dan Kebudayaan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (UNESCO) telah menetapkan ratusan situs di seluruh dunia sebagai Warisan Dunia, sebagai bentuk pengakuan atas nilai budaya dan alam yang luar biasa. Penetapan ini bertujuan untuk melindungi dan melestarikan situs-situs tersebut agar dapat dinikmati oleh generasi mendatang.
Asia Tenggara, dengan keberagaman budaya dan keindahan alamnya, memiliki sejumlah situs Warisan Dunia yang mengagumkan. Indonesia berhasil menempati posisi teratas sebagai negara dengan jumlah situs Warisan Dunia terbanyak di kawasan ini. Beberapa contoh situs Warisan Dunia dari Indonesia antara lain Candi Borobudur, Taman Nasional Komodo, dan sistem Subak Bali.
