SEAToday.com, Jakarta - For the seventh consecutive year, Indonesia has been crowned the most generous country in the world according to the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) World Giving Index 2024.

The survey, which involved 149 countries, measured the level of generosity based on three key indicators, namely monetary donations, volunteerism, and helping strangers.

The results revealed that 90 percent of Indonesians regularly donate money, while 60 percent actively participate in volunteer activities. These figures significantly surpass the global average, demonstrating that the spirit of giving has become an integral part of Indonesian culture.
