Arab Saudi: Tidak Ada Hubungan dengan Israel Tanpa Diakuinya Negara Palestina
SEAToday.com, Gaza - Arab Saudi menegaskan tidak akan melakukan normalisasi hubungan diplomatik dengan Israel tanpa penghentian genosida di Gaza dan pengakuan negara Palestina dengan Yerusalem Timur sebagai ibu kotanya. Hal tersebut disampaikan Kementerian Luar Negeri, Rabu (7/2).
Arab Saudi menyerukan agar agresi Israel di Gaza harus dihentikan dan semua pasukan Israel harus mundur dari wilayah terkepung. Pernyataan ini disampaikan usai kunjungan Menteri Luar Negeri AS Antony Blinken ke beberapa negara Timur Tengah untuk membahas kesepakatan gencatan senjata di Gaza.
Pernyataan tersebut sekaligus membantah pernyataan juru bicara Dewan Keamanan Nasional Gedung Putih John Kirby sebelumnya, yang mengatakan bahwa normalisasi Saudi-Israel "sedang berlangsung".
