SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT KAI will extend the additional operating time of the Greater Jakarta LRT in February until 23:03 local time.

Greater Jakarta LRT Public Relations Manager Mahendro Trang Bawono said this decision was a response to the enthusiasm and interest of the public to use LRT. He stated that there has been a 16 percent increase in the number of users since December, especially since the extension of operating time on 16 January.

With this extension, the number of LRT trips will increase to 264 trips on weekdays and 240 trips on weekends and public holidays. Mahendro hopes that this extension can accommodate the increasing needs of the community.
