UGM to Provide Free Breakfast for Students During Semester's Final Exam
SEAToday.com, Yogyakarta - Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta provides free breakfast for students during semester exams. This initiative has been carried out previously by several faculties, including the Faculty of Biology, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIPOL), and the Faculty of Agriculture. The aim of implementing this initiative is to support students' nutritional needs when taking exams.
This program provides hundreds of portions of breakfast every day with a varied menu. Students can get free breakfast during the exam period, including the current UAS which takes place from December 4-15, 2023 by showing their exam card or student card.
Vice Dean for Academic, Student, and Cooperation Affairs, Adrianto Dwi Nugroho, S.H., Adv.LL.M., LL.D., mentioned that the free breakfast program for students during semester exams can prevent students from falling ill due to their busy schedule in preparing for exams. Additionally, this program aligns with UGM's declaration as a Health Promoting University.
