Korban Tewas Akibat Serangan Israel di Gaza Melebihi 15.000 Orang

SEAToday.com, Gaza - Jumlah warga Palestina yang meninggal akibat serangan Israel di Jalur Gaza sejak 7 Oktober telah mencapai 15.899 jiwa, ungkap Kementerian Kesehatan Gaza, Senin (4/12).

Juru bicara kementerian tersebut, Ashraf al-Qedra, menyebutkan bahwa 70 persen dari keseluruhan jumlah korban tersebut adalah anak-anak dan perempuan. Ia juga menyatakan bahwa jumlah korban luka telah bertambah menjadi lebih dari 42.000 orang.

Menurutnya, Israel meningkatkan serangan yang menarget rumah sakit dan fasilitas kesehatan lainnya. Ia juga menyebutkan, Israel telah menghancurkan 56 institusi kesehatan, menangkap 35 petugas medis, dan menyebabkan sistem kesehatan di Jalur Gaza lumpuh total.

Al-Qedra meminta PBB dan WHO untuk melindungi rumah sakit serta tim kesehatan dan kemanusiaan, juga menyediakan jalur aman untuk pasokan medis dan bahan bakar serta mengevakuasi korban luka.
