Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah di Sidoarjo Menerapkan Waktu Tidur Siang Saat Jam Sekolah

SEAToday.com, Sidoarjo - SD Muhammadiyah 4 Zamzam di Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, menjadikan tidur siang sebagai salah satu pelajaran yang wajib diikuti siswa. Mata pelajaran unik ini baru diterapkan kepada siswa kelas satu pada tahun ajaran 2023-2024. Para siswa diwajibkan tidur siang selama satu jam, pada pukul 13.00-14.00 WIB dengan seorang guru yang mengawasi.

Bukan tanpa alasan, pihak sekolah merasa tidur siang menjadi salah satu kebutuhan siswa agar tak merasa kelelahan sehingga bisa lebih fokus belajar. Para guru menilai, meski para siswa tidak tidur di kasur, pelajaran yang satu ini berhasil membuat para siswa senang dan bisa semangat kembali ketika belajar hingga sore hari.

Selain menghadirkan mata pelajaran tidur siang, sekolah ini juga meniadakan tugas atau PR untuk dikerjakan di rumah. Semua tugas wajib selesai di sekolah agar ketika sampai di rumah, siswa tak terbebani dengan urusan sekolah.
