November Marked as The Month with The Best Air Quality for Jakarta
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Jakarta's air quality has largely remained at unhealthy levels over the past week. What's interesting, based on data from the IQair application, on Wednesday (29/11) the air in Jakarta was said to be the cleanest in November, with figures varying throughout the day, ranging from moderate to good levels.
On a daily average, DKI's air quality yesterday reached a moderate level with AQI 91 and PM2.5 31.2 µg/m³. PM10 even reached the Good level with a figure of 27 µg/m³. This level is the best that DKI has ever achieved at least during November 2023.
Previously, it was hoped that rain would start to fall in the Jakarta area and its surroundings, which would improve Jakarta's air quality. Unfortunately, even though it starts to rain regularly, this condition cannot significantly improve air quality. Improving air quality still requires many factors other than rain.
Don't forget to be careful wherever you are this rainy season, SEAtizens!
