Reshuffle Speculation Emerges, Cabinet Secretary Confirms Inauguration at the Palace This Afternoon

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya confirmed that President Prabowo Subianto will inaugurate several state officials at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Wednesday (2/19) afternoon.

This announcement comes amid speculation about the replacement of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro, in the Merah Putih Cabinet.

"There will be an inauguration of several officials today. This afternoon," Teddy said when contacted by ANTARA on Wednesday.

Since Wednesday morning, journalists have circulated information that President Prabowo is scheduled to inaugurate the heads of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and the Deputy Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP). Additionally, there are rumors that the President will announce Satryo’s successor, reportedly Prof. Brian Yuliarto, a professor from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
