Profil Melitha Sidabutar, Penyanyi yang Meninggal Dunia Menyusul Kembarannya

Kabar berpulangnya Melitha disampaikan dalam sebuah unggahan di akun Instagram label rekaman yang menaunginya, Impact Music Indonesia. Unggahan itu turut menyertakan potret dan kabar kepergian Melitha.
"In loving memory of Melitha Patricia Sidabutar 08.01.2001-08.04.2024. You will be missed forever," demikian bunyi keterangan dalam unggahan yang dibagikan pada Senin, 8 April 2024.
Label rekaman sekaligus manajemen itu juga mengabarkan informasi terkait rumah duka dan ibadah penghiburan. "Selamat Jalan Melitha, bersama Tuhan Yesus di surga mulia.

Melitha mengembuskan napas terakhir setelah didiagnosis gagal jantung. Ia sempat dilarikan ke Rumah Sakit Eka Hospital Bekasi dan meninggal dunia sekitar pukul 09.59 WIB.
Pemilik nama lengkap Melitha Patricia Sidabutar ini lahir di Balige, 8 Januari 2001. Ia memiliki saudara kembar bernama Melisha Sidabutar yang juga seorang penyanyi.
Melisha lebih dahulu berpulang pada 8 Desember 2020 di usia 19 tahun karena pembengkakan pada jantung.
Melitha dan Melisha adalah kontestan Indonesian Idol Special Season 2021. Namun, Melisha yang mendapat golden tiket dari para juri, sedangkan Melitha tidak lolos.
Melitha merampungkan studi di SMA Kristen Saint John pada 2019. Ia juga membagikan momen kelulusannya melalui akun Instagram pribadi.
Melitha diketahui aktif di Gereja Tiberias. Ia bergabung dengan label Impact Music Indonesia dan merilis lagu-lagu rohani, seperti "Penolong dalam Kesesakan", "Selalu Ada Untukku", "Yesus Yang Kupercaya", dan lainnya.
