Keren, 5 WNI Raih Penghargaan Usai Selamatkan Lansia di Jepang yang Terjatuh ke Sungai
SEAToday.com, Tokyo - Lima warga negara Indonesia (WNI) menerima tiga penghargaan atas aksi heroik mereka menyelamatkan seorang lansia Jepang yang terjatuh ke sungai di Kota Yasu, Prefektur Shiga.
Kelima WNI itu, yakni Ahmad Jaelani (25), Annan Dwi Bintoro (26), Ariyo Santali (22), Ferdy Jaya Kusuma (25), dan Nur Fajli Agustian (25) yang bekerja sebagai pemagang di perakitan mobil di Pabrik Daihatsu Motor Shiga (Ryuo).
Mereka mendapatkan penghargaan dari Kepolisian Kota Yasu pada 1 November 2024 dan juga akan menerima penghargaan dari kantor pemadam kebakaran setempat serta penghargaan sekaligus cenderamata dari Daihatsu Motor Corp.
"Pastinya bangga dan kaget, pertama mereka berlima baru saja datang awal Agustus 2024," kata Hairul Anam, pembimbing kelima pemagang tersebut saat dihubungi di Tokyo, Jumat, 8 November 2024, dilansir Antara.
Para pemagang bimbingannya tiba di Jepang Agustus 2024. Keterbatasan bahasa, pengetahuan budaya dan peraturan tidak menjadi halangan bagi pemagang Indonesia itu untuk membantu sesama.
"Keterbatasan kemampuan komunikasi, budaya dan peraturan yang belum terbiasa bagi mereka yang baru saja datang ke Jepang, butuh nyali dan keberanian tinggi untuk mengambil tindakan pertolongan tersebut," katanya.
Hairul menceritakan awalnya mereka hanya ingin hiburan memancing di Sungai Yasu, Sabtu, 14 Oktober 2024 sekitar pukul 13.30 waktu setempat. Mereka mendengar suara keras "Ah" bersamaan dengan deburan air sungai.
Setelah diperiksa, seorang perempuan berusia 60-an ternyata jatuh ke sungai itu yang berada 15 meter di bawah Jembatan Omifuji di Kota Yasu.
"Tanpa disangka karena tindakan heroik mereka, sampai viral dan mengharumkan nama Indonesia di Jepang. Patut diapresiasi, semoga bisa memperbaiki citra WNI yang tinggal di Jepang," katanya.
