SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is engineering four service routes due to the Jakarta Integrated Light Rail Transit (LRT) Phase 1B construction project on the Velodrome - Manggarai route.
The engineering of four service routes that cross in the Manggarai area is effective from January 27, 2025 - August 31, 2026.
These four routes are Pulogadung - Galunggung (Corridor 4), Pulogadung - Kuningan (4D), Manggarai Station - Blok M (6M), and Manggarai Station - University of Indonesia (4B).
Transjakarta's Head of Public Relations and CSR Ayu Wardhan explained that for the Pulogadung - Galunggung (Corridor 4) route, the service that was originally straight to Galunggung has changed its route to make a U-turn at the Manggarai Terminal Stop to Dr. Saharjo Street, then make a U-turn at Toba Dream to Jalan Minangkabau Barat, then to Jalan Sultan Agung and so on until Galunggung.
Then, for the Pulogadung - Kuningan (4D) route, after the Manggarai Bus Stop in the direction of Galunggung, make a U-turn in front of Toba Dream to Jalan Minangkabau Barat to go to Jalan Sultan Agung and so on.
Then, for the Manggarai Station - Blok M (6M) route, after the Manggarai stop in the direction of Galunggung, make a U-turn in front of Toba Dream towards Minangkabau Barat road to go to Jalan Sultan Agung and so on.
Furthermore, the Manggarai Station - University of Indonesia (4B) route heading to Manggarai Station, from the direction of UI takes Jalan Minangkabau Barat until the red light (TL) Jalan Sultan Agung turns left towards the Pasar Rumput bus stop then makes a U-turn to head to Manggarai Station.
For Pulogadung - Galunggung (Corridor 4), Pulogadung - Kuningan (4D) and Manggarai Station - Blok M (6M) routes, from the direction of Galunggung, Blok M, Kuningan towards Manggarai follow the traffic from the West/Galunggung towards Tambak/Mataman.
“There is an adjustment to the dock door at the Manggarai bus stop towards Galunggung, but customers do not need to worry because all Transjakarta routes operate normally,” she explained.
People who usually use Transjakarta are also urged to be able to adjust their trips.
