Pemkab Sukabumi Tetapkan Status Tanggap Darurat Bencana hingga 7 Hari Kedepan
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah Kabupaten Sukabumi menetapkan status tanggap darurat bencana dalam sepekan ke depan pascabencana hidrometeorologi yang melanda daerah itu pada Rabu (4/12/2024).
"Status tanggap darurat bencana ini kami tetapkan selama tujuh hari atau sepekan dan bisa diperpanjang setelah dilakukan evaluasi," ujar Sekda Kabupaten Sukabumi Ade Suryaman di Sukabumi, Rabu (4/12) malam, dilansir Antara.
Tidak hanya itu, pihaknya juga mendirikan posko tanggap darurat dan penanggulangan bencana di Pendopo Kabupaten Sukabumi di Kelurahan/Kecamatan Palabuhanratu.
Status tanggap darurat ini ditetapkan bertujuan untuk mempercepat penanganan bencana mulai dari pendataan bangunan terdampak, evakuasi korban, hingga penyaluran bantuan darurat atau sementara kepada penyintas bencana.
Selain itu, juga untuk mempercepat mobilisasi personel atau petugas penanggulangan bencana sehingga penanganan bencana lebih terstruktur, terarah dan tepat sasaran.
Ini agar penyintas bencana bisa mendapatkan penanganan dengan maksimal serta meminimalkan dampak bencana baik dari sisi kerugian materi maupun korban jiwa serta luka.
Penetapan status tanggap darurat bencana oleh Pemkab Sukabumi ini karena melihat dari skala bencana yang besar dan sebaran lokasi bencana yakni berada di 33 titik di 22 kecamatan. Kemudian nilai kerugian yang besar, jumlah warga yang terdampak dan adanya korban jiwa.
"Kami sudah mempersiapkan segala sesuatunya mulai sumber daya manusia, anggaran, peralatan pendukung, hingga logistik dan lain sebagainya," tambahnya.
Adapun jenis bencana hidrometeorologi yang terjadi pada Selasa (3/12) dan Rabu (4/12) yang memporak-porandakan sejumlah daerah di Kabupaten Sukabumi yakni banjir, tanah longsor, pergerakan tanah, dan angin kencang.
