Miss Grand International 2023 was held on October 25, 2023. There were 68 contestants from various countries including Indonesia. The representative from Indonesia is Ritassya Wellgreat. Ritassya Wellgreat failed to win Miss Grand International. However, she managed to enter the top 10 of Miss Grand International. However, Ritassya's presentation should be something to be proud of for the Indonesian people.

Ritassya Wellgreat is a woman from the city of Palembang, South Sumatra. Ritassya has three siblings. Ritassya is a Dutch girl from her father, Ricky Wellgreat. Ritassya adheres to Islam and was born in Palembang, on April 30, 2001. Ritassya is a Dutch girl who grew up in Palembang.

Ritassya, who is often called Cia, was cared for by her grandmother from childhood until she graduated from junior high school. Next, he finished high school at SMA Negeri 7 Palembang. Quoting from insertlive.com, Ritassya completed college and obtained a bachelor's degree in Accounting at Sriwijaya University and succeeded in getting the title of best student and a cumlaude degree.

Ritassya became known in the entertainment world when she was elected as Puteri Indonesia Bangka Belitung 2019. At that time she was 17 years old. Then, in 2023 Ritassya took part in Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia 2023 and represented Palembang.

At the Miss Grand International beauty pageant, Ritassya gave an argument regarding the war between Israel and Palestine. Ritassya said "I come from an imperfect family, growing up with a single mother and an extraordinary grandmother, they raised me with extraordinary love. The conflict between Israel and Palestine made me reflect on the fate of children without a home, as I grew up with that feeling,"

Ritassya also said that war destroys families, dreams, and hopes. “Let us unite in forgiveness, listen to each other, and start a dialogue. "I invite the international community to work together to prevent children from growing up in chaos," said Ritassya.
