Quoting the official BMKG website, in general the convergence area extends from the west coast of North Sumatra to Bengkulu, from the Banda Sea to the Maluku Sea, South Sulawesi to Central Sulawesi, West Papua to Southwest Papua, and Papua Mountains to Central Papua.
