Health Ministry Urges Public to Implement Health Protocols

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Health Ministry reminds the public to implement clean and healthy living behaviors along with the potential for an increase in COVID-19 cases in Indonesia.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Mohammad Syahril on Tuesday (5/28) said “COVID-19 has not completely disappeared despite its current endemic status. There is still the potential for the emergence of new variants or sub variants that have the potential to cause an increase in cases, and even deaths.”

For this reason, he urged the public to continue implementing health protocols, such as washing hands, wearing masks when sick, including when in crowds.

In addition, the public is also asked to immediately complete the COVID-19 vaccination, especially the elderly and people with comorbidities, and diligently wash their hands.
