President Prabowo Meets President Joe Biden to Mark 75th Anniversary of Indonesia-US Bilateral Relations

SEAToday.com, Washington DC - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto held a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden at the White House in Washington DC on Tuesday (11/12). This meeting also marked 75 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

President Prabowo expressed his appreciation for the friendly relations between the countries. 

“For us, the United States is a very good friend. The United States supported us in our struggle for independence and has helped us many times when we needed it. Therefore, I will work hard to strengthen Indonesia-United States  relations,” said President Prabowo.

On his part, President Biden highlighted several areas of cooperation, including strengthening a free and open Indo-Pacific region, supporting clean energy transition, and building secure and resilient supply chains.
