Jemaah Haji Indonesia Diperiksa Petugas karena Bawa Batu Kerikil di Koper

SEAToday.com, Jeddah-Salah seorang jemaah haji Indonesia ketahuan membawa batu kerikil dalam koper bagasi di Bandara King Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAAIA) Jeddah, Sabtu, 8 Juni 2024.
Akibatnya, jemaah haji itu harus melewati serangkaian pemeriksaan oleh petugas bandara. Hal tersebut juga membuat keberangkatan rombongan jemaah haji ke Makkah tertunda.
Batu kerikil terdeteksi setelah koper jemaah haji tersebut melalui pemeriksaan mesin x-ray setibanya di bandara. Petugas menyadari ada barang mencurigakan dan mengamankan koper tersebut.
Usai diperiksa, rupanya barang yang mencurigakan adalah sejumlah batu kerikil yang dibawa dari Indonesia. Setelah ditanya, jemaah tersebut mengaku bahwa batu tersebut akan digunakan untuk melempar jumrah.
Pembimbing ibadah dari Petugas Penyelenggara Ibadah Haji (PPIH) Arab Saudi Daker Bandara, Mulyono mengatakan bahwa jemaah haji Indonesia yang berangkat menuju Tanah Suci diimbau untuk tidak membawa batu kerikil ke dalam koper atau pun tas.
"Jemaah tidak perlu membawa batu dari tanah air, karena batu-batu tersebut sudah tersedia sangat banyak di Muzdalifah," katanya ketika mendampingi jemaah di Bandara Jeddah, Sabtu, 8 Juni 2024, dikutip dari laman Kementerian Agama.
Mulyono menyarankan agar jemaah haji lebih fokus untuk menyiapkan diri terkait pelaksanaan ibadah lainnya, seperti amalan atau bacaannya. Sedangkan batu untuk melempar jumrah tidak perlu dibawa dan lebih baik koper diisi barang atau kebutuhan lain.
Sebelumnya, Kepala PPIH Arab Saudi Daker Bandara, Abdillah juga mengingatkan bahwa Pemerintah Arab Saudi ketat dalam hal barang bawaan para penumpang pesawat udara, khususnya jemaah. Salah satu yang selektif adalah barang bawaan yang dapat dianggap mempraktikkan syirik.
"Hindari barang bawaan yang aneh dan menimbulkan kecurigaan," kata Abdillah.
