Pahlawan Perempuan Nasional Indonesia
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesia telah melewati perjalanan panjang demi mencapai kemerdekaan. Perjuangan tersebut tentunya tidak lepas dari jasa para pahlawan. Sejumlah tokoh dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia juga telah dianugerahi gelar Pahlawan Nasional yang merupakan gelar penghargaan tertinggi di Indonesia.
Gelar pahlawan dianugerahi bagi para individu yang dinilai berjasa luar biasa bagi kepentingan bangsa dan negara. Di antara 206 Pahlawan Nasional, 16 diantaranya merupakan perempuan. Tidak hanya berjuang demi kemerdekaan bangsa, 16 perempuan ini juga dianggap telah memperjuangkan emansipasi wanita.
