Akhirnya! Gunung Fuji Mulai Ditutupi Salju Setelah Penantian Terlama dalam 130 Tahun

SEAToday.com, Tokyo - Gunung Fuji di Jepang akhirnya terlihat mulai mendapatkan kembali lapisan salju ikonik di puncaknya, sebulan lebih lambat dari biasanya, Rabu (6/11).
Kantor Meteorologi Lokal Kofu dalam pengumuman resmi tahunan pada 7 November mengonfirmasi berita tersebut, menyatakan bahwa puncak tertinggi di Jepang ini telah diselimuti salju pada pukul 6:15 pagi.
Tahun ini menandai penantian terpanjang dalam 130 tahun bagi gunung tersebut untuk mendapatkan kembali lapisan saljunya. Rata-rata, salju di gunung ini pertama kali turun pada 2 Oktober. Tahun lalu, salju pertama kali terlihat pada 5 Oktober, sementara turun salju terlama sebelumnya adalah pada 26 Oktober, terjadi pada tahun 1955 dan 2016.
Ahli meteorologi meyakini bahwa pemanasan global merupakan faktor dari fenomena yang tidak biasa tahun ini. Gunung Fuji yang tidak bersalju juga viral di media sosial, memicu perhatian terkait kekhawatiran akan krisis iklim.
