Pelni Jakarta: Layanan Kapal untuk Arus Balik Mulai 4 April

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Pelni) Cabang Jakarta menyebut pelayanan kapal untuk arus balik penumpang pada Hari Raya Idul Fitri 2025 mulai berlangsung pada 4 April mendatang.
"Ada dua kapal Pelni yang sandar untuk layanan arus balik mulai 4 April yaitu KM Kelud dan KM Gunung Dempo," kata Kepala Cabang Pelni Jakarta Dicky Dermawan, Rabu (2/4), dilansir Antara.
Kedua kapal tersebut bermarkas (homebase) di Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok Jakarta. Nantinya, kapal ini akan melayani penumpang ke berbagai wilayah di Indonesia.
Kedua kapal tersebut yakni KM Kelud yang berkapasitas 2.000 penumpang dan KM Gunung Dempo yang berkapasitas 2.500 penumpang.
KM Kelud sendiri akan melayani wilayah bagian barat dengan rute Jakarta-Batam-Tanjung Balai Karimun-Belawan PP.
Sementara KM Gunung Dempo akan melayani wilayah bagian tengah hingga timur dengan rute Jakarta-Surabaya-Makassar-Bau Bau-Sorong-Manokwari-Wasior-Nabire-Jayapura PP.
Kapal-kapal Pelni yang melayani penumpang untuk mudik maupun arus balik ini sudah dipastikan layak beroperasi, karena telah diperiksa secara menyeluruh (ramp check) olah pihak inspektur kelautan dari Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan (KSOP).
Pemeriksaan menyeluruh tersebut berkaitan dengan berbagai aspek kelengkapan seperti dokumen, peralatan navigasi, peralatan komunikasi.
Selain itu, mesin dan peralatan keselamatan juga diperiksa sebanyak dua kali setahun, yaitu di setiap periode musim ramai permintaan (peak season) pada saat Lebaran dan Natal dan Tahun Baru.
Dikcy menjelaskan perbaikan kondisi kapal juga bisa dilakukan ketika sedang dalam pelayaran untuk hal-hal kecil (minor) yang memang bisa langsung ditangani.
Ia memastikan, pihaknya siap memberikan pelayanan untuk mengantar para penumpang dengan selamat sampai ke pelabuhan yang menjadi tujuan.
