1.214 Jiwa Mengungsi Akibat Erupsi Gunung Ibu

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemrov) Maluku menyatakan sebanyak 1.214 jiwa harus mengungsi akibat erupsi Gunung Ibu di Halmahera Barat. Para pengungsi ini diungsikan ke berbagai titik yang telah disediakan oleh pemerintah.
"Saat ini ada enam titik lokasi pengungsian telah disediakan bagi warga terdampak erupsi Gunung Ibu," kata Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Maluku Utara Samsuddin Abdul Kadir, dilansir Antara.
Berdasarkan dari yang dihimpun dari Posko Erupsi Gunung Ibu pada 21 Januari 2025 pukul 16.00 WIT, letusan abu vulkanik Gunung Ibu menyebabkan 1.214 jiwa mengungsi.
Adapun pengungsi ini tersebar di enam titik yaitu 108 Kepala Keluarga (KK)/ 276 jiwa di Pos Gereja Tua Emanuel Desa Tongute, 21 KK/ 53 jiwa di Kantor Desa Tongute Sungi, 27 KK/ 61 jiwa di Pos Gereja Sion Akesibu, 37 KK/157 jiwa di SMKS Anak Negeri Akesibu, dan 15 KK/ 32 jiwa di Pos SD Tongute Goin.
Para pengungsi ini terdiri dari 13 ibu hamil, 94 balita, 21 anak usia dini, dan 97 orang lansia. Jika dikategorikan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, terdiri dari 504 laki-laki dan 710 perempuan.
Status Gunung Ibu sendiri telah meningkat ke Level IV (Awas) pada 15 Januari 2025 berrdasarkan informasi dari Posko Erupsi Gunung Ibu. Hal ini seiring dentuman keras dan semburan abu vulkanik setinggi 4.000 meter di atas puncak.
Kejadian ini menyebabkan 287 KK atau 649 jiwa mengungsi dari enam kecamatan terdampak yaitu Kecamatan Sangaji Nyeku, Kecamatan Soasangaji, Kecamatan Tuguis, Kecamatan Togoreba Sungi, Kecamatan Borona, dan Kecamatan Todoke.
