Sopir Truk Kontainer Tabrak Pengendara di Tangerang Positif Narkoba

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Supir truk kontainer yang menabrak sejumlah pengendara dan pejalan kaki di Kota Tangerang, Banten, dinyatakan positif narkoba. Setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan laboratorium, supir tersebut positif narkoba jenis amfetamin.
"Hasil lab-nya demikian (positif), sehingga ini sangat membahayakan, bila sopir wing box dalam mengemudikan kendaraan di bawah pengaruh narkoba" ujar Kapolres Metro Tangerang Kota, Kombes Pol Zain Dwi Nugroho dalam keterangannya, Jumat (1/11) dilansir Antara.
Sopir bernama JFN ini masih dalam penanganan medis akibat luka amuk massa yang marah dengan ulah-nya tersebut.
Saat ini, kondisi sopir sudah sadar dan telah dipindahkan ke ruang perawatan, tetapi masih dalam pemantauan petugas medis RSUD Kabupaten Tangerang.
Adapun kronologi peristiwa tersebut, Kapolres mengungkapkan, diawali Truk Wing Box yang dikendarai JFN datang dari arah Cikokol menuju Cipondoh menabrak bemper belakang Suzuki Ertiga dikendarai Laurentius yang sedang berhenti di traffic light arah Kodim.
Akibat panik, pelaku lalu melarikan diri ke arah Cipondoh dan dikejar oleh warga sampai jalan KH Hasyim Ashari. Ia kembali menabrak pengendara sepeda motor maupun pejalan kaki lalu kabur ke arah Graha Raya, Banjar Wijaya.
Lalu ia kembali ke Jalan Hasyim Ashari, terakhir dapat dihentikan warga yang mengejar di Bundaran Tugu Adipura Jalan Veteran.
"Sejumlah kendaraan mengalami kerusakan akibat di tabrak maupun di serempet oleh mobil wing box yang dikemudikan oleh JFN," katanya.
Berdasarkan data sementara, sejumlah korban mengalami luka-luka. Unit Lakalantas Polres Metro Tangerang Kota menyebut total ada tujuh orang yang menjadi korban atas kejadian ini.
Tujuh orang tersebut yaitu empat pengendara sepeda motor, satu pengemudi mobil dan satu orang pejalan kaki, termasuk sopir JFN yang luka akibat amukan massa di Tugu Adipura.
Sementara itu, jumlah kendaraan yang mengalami kerusakan sebanyak 10 unit mobil dan 6 sepeda motor.
