Kementerian Agama Usulkan Bukti Bayar Zakat Jadi Syarat Naik Jabatan ASN

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Waryono Abdul Ghafur, Direktur Pemberdayaan Zakat dan Wakaf Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) mengusulkan, salah satu syarat naik jabatan bagi aparatur sipil negara (ASN) Kemenag adalah bukti pembayaran zakat dari Baznas.
Melansir Antara, bukti pembayaran pajak dan LHKPN untuk jenjang jabatan di Kemenag tidak cukup. Menurutnya, zakat merupakan bukti keimanan sehingga harus dipertimbangkan dalam seleksi kenaikan jabatan.
"Zakat menjadi bukti bahwa kita beriman. Begitu juga dengan pembayaran zakat, harus menjadi pertimbangan dalam seleksi kenaikan jabatan," kata Waryono dalam keterangannya di Jakarta, Rabu (13/3/2024).
Muhibuddin dari Kasubdit Edukasi, Inovasi, dan Kerja Sama Zakat dan Wakaf mengatakan, zakat merupakan salah satu rukun Islam yang memiliki nilai keadilan sosial dan ekonomi.
"Keadilan ekonomi dan sosial dapat dijembatani oleh zakat sebagai instrumen. Zakat dalam pendistribusiannya harus berdampak, sehingga menjadi problem solving masyarakat dalam pemerataan ekonomi," kata Muhibuddin.
Ia menganjurkan agar alokasi dana zakat digunakan untuk pengelolaan lahan wakaf yang dapat dioptimalkan untuk pengembangan sektor pertanian, perikanan, maupun persawahan.
Pengelolaan dana zakat dan wakaf yang optimal dikatakan dapat mendukung pencapaian pembangunan berkelanjutan.
"Kementerian Agama memiliki tiga program yang dapat dikolaborasikan dengan pengelola zakat dan wakaf, dan ini dapat disinergikan dengan program ketahanan pangan nasional," ujar Muhibuddin.
"Potensi dana zakat nasional yang mencapai Rp327 triliun dapat menunjang APBN untuk melakukan pembangunan nasional secara lebih baik," tambahnya.
Kementerian Agama mengarahkan gerak zakat dan wakaf dengan berkolaborasi sehingga setiap lembaga perlu bergerak dan berjalan bersama dalam mengelola zakat dan wakaf.
