Debat Keempat Cawapres Pemilu 2024: Kritik Cak Imin Soal Nasib Petani

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Calon wakil presiden (Cawapres) nomor urut 1 Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) mengkritik kebijakan lumbung pangan pemerintah. Hal itu dikatakannya saat Debat Keempat Cawapres Pemilu 2024, Minggu (21/1/2024).

Cak Imin menilai pemerintah telah “mengabaikan petani kita” dan “meninggalkan masyarakat adat.” Politisi Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) ini pun menyerukan hal tersebut untuk dihentikan.

“Ini harus dihentikan,” kata Cak Imin.

Dalam pidato pembukaannya, Cak Imin juga mengutip ucapan pendiri Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Hasyim Asy’ari soal petani. 

"Hadratussyeikh KH. Hasyim Asy'ari, petani adalah penolong negeri, tetapi hari ini kita menyaksikan negara dan pemerintah abai terhadap nasib petani dan nelayan kita," kata Cak Imin.

Pada debat keempat hari ini, KPU memang menjadikan pembangunan berkelanjutan, sumber daya alam, lingkungan hidup, energi, pangan, agraria, masyarakat adat dan desa sebagai tema. Debat sendiri digelar di Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta.
