Kemendikbudristek: 11 Bahasa Daerah di Indonesia Mengalami Kepunahan

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) menyebutkan jika 11 bahasa daerah di Indonesia sudah mengalami kepunahan.

Bahasa daerah yang mengalami kepunahan tersebut adalah bahasa Tandia di Papua Barat, bahasa Mawes Papua, bahasa Kajeli/Kayeli Maluku, bahasa Piru Maluku, bahasa Moksela Maluku, bahasa daerah Palumata Maluku, bahasa Ternateno Maluku Utara, bahasa Hukumina Maluku, bahasa Hoti Maluku, bahasa Serua Maluku, dan bahasa Nila di daerah Maluku.

Sekretaris Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa Kemendikbudristek Hafidz Muksin, Kamis (7/3) mengatakan, kepunahan bahasa daerah ini dipengaruhi oleh para penuturnya yang tidak lagi menggunakan serta tidak mewariskan ke anak-cucunya
