Israel-Hamas Sepakat Gencatan Senjata Sementara di Gaza

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah Israel menyetujui gencatan senjata dengan Hamas, Rabu (22/11). Gencatan senjata tersebut memberikan jeda empat hari dari krisis kemanusiaan yang sudah berlangsung setidaknya selama enam minggu terakhir.
Berdasarkan kesepakatan tersebut, pemerintah Israel mengatakan bahwa Hamas akan membebaskan 50 dari sekitar 240 sandera yang mereka tahan di Jalur Gaza. Pemerintah Israel juga akan memperpanjang jeda waktu tersebut dengan satu hari tambahan untuk setiap 10 sandera yang dibebaskan. Penggunaan drone juga akan berhenti di utara Gaza selama enam jam per hari, antara pukul 10.00 hingga 16.00 waktu setempat selama empat hari.
Israel juga diminta mengizinkan akses ratusan truk yang membawa bantuan kemanusiaan ke Gaza. Selain itu, Israel berkomitmen untuk tidak menyerang atau menangkap siapa pun di seluruh wilayah jalur Gaza.
Belum diketahui kapan gencatan senjata itu akan dimulai. Hamas mengatakan bahwa sandera pertama yang akan dibebaskan adalah wanita dan anak-anak.
