Setidaknya 115 Penerbangan di Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai Batal Akibat Erupsi Gunung Lewotobi Laki-laki

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - General Manager Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai Ahmad Syaugi Shahab mengumumkan bahwa hingga Rabu (13/11), 115 penerbangan telah dibatalkan atas dampak dari erupsi Gunung Lewotobi Laki-Laki, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Sementara itu, 20 penerbangan lainnya dibatalkan karena alasan operasional maskapai.

32 penerbangan yang dibatalkan di antaranya merupakan penerbangan domestik, yang terdiri dari 16 keberangkatan dan 16 kedatangan yang terdampak, serta 83 penerbangan lainnya merupakan penerbangan internasional, yang terdiri dari 42 keberangkatan dan 41 kedatangan.

Meski beberapa maskapai membatalkan penerbangan, Syaugi menegaskan Bandara Ngurah Rai tetap beroperasi.

Hingga kini, pihak Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai masih terus memantau kondisi ruang udara dan arah sebaran abu vulkanik dengan papertest dan citra satelit.
