IKN Akan Bangun Angkutan Cepat Kereta Api Otonom
SEAToday.com, IKN - Menteri Perhubungan Budi Karya Sumadi menyatakan bahwa Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) akan membangun transportasi publik buatan Tiongkok, Automated-Rail Rapid Transit (ART).
Dalam sebuah postingan media sosialnya, Menteri Budi menyebutkan bahwa proyek ini akan dikerjakan bersama perusahaan China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) yang juga sebelumnya membantu pengerjaan Whoosh. Nantinya, ART ini akan dibangun di IKN sumbu Barat dan Timur dan dikerjakan dalam dua fase.
Menteri Budi menyebutkan bahwa ART ini merupakan kereta tanpa rel konvensional, melainkan dengan rel virtual. ART ini dioperasikan dengan baterai yang disubtitusikan menggunakan magnet pada marka jalan. Satu trainset yang terdiri dari tiga gerbong dapat mengangkut lebih dari 300 orang, dengan kecepatan hingga 70 km/jam.
