Gabriel Attal, 34, Dinobatkan sebagai Perdana Menteri Termuda di Prancis
SEAToday.com, Paris - Gabriel Attal ditunjuk sebagai Perdana Menteri Prancis, Selasa (1/9), menjadikannya PM termuda di negara tersebut di usia 34 tahun.
Attal ditunjuk setelah pengunduran diri PM sebelumnya, Elisabeth Borne, pada Senin (8/1), menyusul konflik politik baru-baru ini terkait undang-undang imigrasi. UU tersebut memperkuat kemampuan pemerintah untuk mendeportasi warga negara asing. Presiden Prancis Emmanuel Macron juga sedang mencari citra baru di sisa masa jabatannya di tengah meningkatnya tekanan politik dari kelompok sayap kanan.
Attal saat ini menjabat sebagai Menteri Pendidikan Prancis. Ia menjadi populer di Prancis sebagai juru bicara pemerintah selama pandemi COVID-19.
