SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir berkata pajak bioskop akan distandarisasi. Teknisnya akan dituangkan dalam peraturan presiden (perpres) yang diklaim menjadi payung hukum ekosistem perfilman Tanah Air, mulai dari segi perpajakan, perizinan, sampai pendanaan.
Melalui akun Instagramnya pada Senin (27/11), Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir mengatakan bahwa pajak film tersebut akan berlaku untuk semua daerah. Uang dari pajak tersebut akan dikumpulkan di Perum Produksi Film Negara atau PFN, sebuah BUMN di bidang perfilman Indonesia. Tujuan dari penetapan pajak ini adalah sebagai bentuk keberpihakan negara terhadap film nasional.
