Here is A List of The Year-End Aircraft Accidents in 2024

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - December 2024 is a month full of sorrow for the international aviation world. Towards the new year there were several plane crashes that occurred. There were hundreds of people lost their lives. These are some of the plane crashes in December 2024:
1.Jeju Air
A Jeju Air plane flying from Thailand crashed while landing at Muan International Airport, South Korea on December 29, 2024. In the accident, it was reported that around 179 people died and only two people survived.
The accident was thought to have been caused by a bird strike, which caused damage to parts of the plane. Therefore, when landing the plane could not remove the wheels until it finally lost control during landing and exploded.
2.Air Canada
Air Canada had an accident on Saturday, December 28, 2024. The accident occurred at night due to an engine fire and the plane skidding. The accident caused the wings of the plane to catch fire. Luckily in that incident there were no deaths.
3.KLM Royal Dutch
On Sunday, December 29, 2024 a Boeing aircraft owned by KLM Royal Dutch skidded off the runway at Oslo Sandefjord Torp Airport in Norway. The plane is suspected of having hydraulic problems.
It was recorded that no victims died. However, six crew members were reportedly slightly injured in the incident. The plane was planning to fly from Oslo to Amsterdam, Netherlands but failed to take off.
4.Light Airplane
A light aircraft crashed on Sunday, December 29, 2024 on the coast of Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The accident caused the death of two people who were the pilot and co-pilot of the ill-fated plane. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
5.Azerbaijan Airlines
Azerbaijan Airlines had an accident when it crashed in Aktau City, Kazakhstan on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. The accident occurred when the plane was flying from Baku, Azerbaijan to Grozny. According to rumors, the plane crashed due to a Russian missile.
6.Britten-Norman
The Britten-Norman BN-2B-26 aircraft crashed in the jungle of Papua New Guinea on December 22, 2024. The crash left five people dead. The wreckage was only found a day after the incident in a destroyed condition.
