President Prabowo Receives Credentials from Seven Newly Appointed Ambassadors

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - On Monday (11/4), President Prabowo Subianto received Letters of Credence from seven Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary at the Merdeka Palace. This formal ceremony marked the commencement of their diplomatic missions in Indonesia.

The event began with a honor guard ceremony, followed by the playing of each nation's anthem. Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya were present as President Prabowo received the Letters of Credence from each ambassador.

Seven ambassadors who presented their Letters of Credence:

  • Marc Gerritsen (Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands)
  • Roberto Sarmento de Oliveira Soares (Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste)
  • Martin Makaruru (Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe)
  • Oybek Eshonov (Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan)
  • Wang Lutong (Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan)
  • Abdelouahab Osmane (Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria)
  • Enkhtaivan Dashnya (Ambassador of Mongolia)
