Tim Indonesia Raih Tiga Penghargaan di World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC) 2024 di Serbia

SEAToday.com, Belgrade - Lima pelajar Indonesia meraih tiga gelar pada kejuaraan debat dunia World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC) yang diselenggarakan pada 16-22 Juli di Belgrade, Serbia. Penghargaan yang diraih diantaranya Top Ten English as Foreign Language (EFL) Best Speaker, Honorable Mention (Octofinalist), dan Best EFL Team.

 

Kelima pelajar berprestasi tersebut yakni Bintang Putra Ari Ramadhan dari SMAS Al-Azhar Mandiri Palu, Carlsson Khovis dari SMAS Sutomo 1 Medan, Arilynn Wijaya dari SMAS Sutomo 1 Medan, Yvonne Ng dari SMA Maitreyawira Batam, dan Anya Krishna Rahardja dari SMA ACS Jakarta.

 

Mereka berhasil unggul diantara 67 peserta lainnya dari berbagai negara. Capaian tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan bagi tim debat Indonesia dibanding tahun sebelumnya yang mendapatkan Honorable Mention (Partial Double Octofinalist).
