Indonesia Ranked Second Most Trusted Country for Media 2024

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesia became the second country with the highest level of trust in the media in the 2024 Edelman Trust Barometer report. Indonesia scored 70 points, down 2 points from the previous period, 2023. Meanwhile, China took the top spot with a score of 77.

 

In addition to Indonesia, neighboring countries in Southeast Asia that are included in the list are Thailand, which ranked third with a total of 69 points, Malaysia, which ranked eighth with a total of 60 points, followed by Singapore with a total of 60 points.

 

Of the 28 countries on the list, only nine are in the trust category, four are neutral, and 15 are in the distrust category.
