33 Personel Kepolisian Republik Indonesia Mendapat Penghargaan dari UNMISS
SEAToday.com, Juba - Otoritas Misi Pemeliharaan Perdamaian United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) memberikan penghargaan kepada 33 personel Polri yang bertugas sebagai Individual Police Officer (IPO), Rabu (31/1). Penghargaan tersebut diterima oleh Kadiv Hubinter Irjen. Pol. Krisna Murti di Payam UN House, Juba Sudan Selatan, disaksikan Senior Liaison Officer perwakilan Indonesia untuk PBB.
Dalam acara tersebut, UNMISS UNPOL Commissioner Christine Fossen mengapresiasi kinerja personel Polri pada misi tersebut. “Seluruh UNPOL Indonesia pada UNMISS telah memberikan kontribusi nyata,” sebutnya.
Forsen menilai bahwa pencapaian UNPOL Indonesia cukup krusial pada bidang operasional khususnya saat persiapan UNMISS dalam mendukung pemilu yang diadakan pemerintah Sudan Selatan. UNPOL Indonesia juga meraih prestasi di bidang non-lapangan seperti perencanaan operasi misi, pengembangan kapasitas kepolisian lokal, dan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia.
