This decision was announced during the ethics verdict hearing on Wednesday (12/27) at the KPK office in Jakarta.
"Stating that the examined Firli Bahuri has been proven legally and convincingly to have violated the code of ethics, namely having a direct or indirect contact with Syahrul Yasin Limpo, whose case is being handled by the KPK," said Ethics Panel Chairman Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean in his verdict.

Firli himself was not present at the reading of the verdict, but the KPK Supervisory Board stated that the verdict was still valid despite his absence.
