SEAToday.com, Gaza - At least 20,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since October 7, according to Palestinian officials on Wednesday (12/20).
8,000 children and 6,200 women are among the dead, while 52,000 are injured and 6,700 are still missing. 310 medics, 35 civil defense personnel, and 97 journalists are among those killed. The attacks also displaced nearly 2 million people.
Meanwhile, two Palestinians were killed in clashes with the Israeli military in West Bank cities. The deaths amounted to 303 people killed in the Israeli-occupied territories since October 7, according to WAFA, the official Palestinian media.
The grim milestone passed as the UN postponed a vote demanding aid access to Gaza to avoid a veto from the US, which usually shields its ally, Israel.
