SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The General Election Commission (KPU) has determined that the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) will be held with a composition of three presidential candidate debates and two vice presidential candidate debates. This is in accordance with KPU Regulation No. 15 of 2023, Article 50, Paragraph (1).
Later, the 2024 presidential election debate will use a format that simultaneously presents presidential and vice presidential pairs in five debates. KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari said that this format aims to see the extent of cooperation between each presidential and vice presidential pair.
