Elon Musk, Presiden Jokowi akan Resmikan Layanan Starlink di Indonesia pada WWF ke-10 di Bali
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Menteri Koordinator Bidang Kemaritiman dan Investasi Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan mengungkapkan Elon Musk akan meresmikan layanan Starlink di Indonesia di sela-sela acara World Water Forum (WWF) ke-10 di Bali.
“Elon Musk akan meresmikan bersama Presiden, Starlink untuk mempermudah komunikasi di daerah terpencil. Ini akan dilakukan pada hari Minggu (19/5),” sebutnya.
Menteri Luhut memastikan Elon Musk akan hadir dalam WWF ke-10 di Bali sebagai pembicara. Namun, ia tidak menjelaskan keterangan lebih lanjut.
Sementara itu, Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Budi Arie Setiadi menyebutkan saat ini Starlink telah memenuhi uji laik operasi (ULO). Pembahasan terkait kerja sama pemerintah Indonesia dengan layanan Starlink milik Elon Musk akan dibicarakan dalam rapat kerja mendatang. Hal-hal yang akan dibahas antara lain adalah manfaat dan ekosistem dari layanan tersebut.
