Cegah Mpox, Angkasa Pura Pasang Alat Pengukur Suhu

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura (InJourney Airports) mulai melakukan waspada mencegah penyakit Mpox atau cacar monyet masuk ke dalam negeri.

Pencegahan ini dilakukan dengan memasang thermal scanner atau alat pengukur suhu badan di bandara, tepatnya di terminal internasional.

InJourney Airports pun telah berkoordinasi secara intensif dengan Balai Besar Kekarantinaan Kesehatan (BBKK) di setiap bandara terkait upaya tersebut. 

"Di tengah peningkatan status virus Mpox secara global, 16 bandara internasional InJourney Airports terus meningkatkan kewaspadaan guna mengantisipasi potensi penyebaran virus Mpox," ujar Direktur Utama InJourney Airports Faik Fahmi, Kamis (29/8/2024).

Pihaknya pun memastikan bahwa operasional kebandarudaraan serta pelayanan kepada seluruh pengguna jasa bandara tetap terjaga secara optimal.

 

Sementara itu, pada September 2024, Indonesia akan menjadi tuan rumah penyelenggaraan beberapa event besar internasional.

Event-event tersebut seperti Indonesia Africa Forum (IAF) pada 1-3 September dan Bali International Airshow pada 18-21 September yang dilaksanakan di Bali.

Kemudian, Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (IISF) pada 5-6 September di Jakarta, serta kejuaraan dunia MotoGP di Lombok pada 27-29 September.

"Langkah preventif ini kami ambil sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap pencegahan dan penyebaran virus Mpox secara khusus, serta guna mendukung kelancaran penyelenggaraan berbagai event internasional tersebut," tutur Faik.

Terkait kasus Mpox, Kementerian Kesehatan melaporkan sebanyak 88 kasus Mpox di Indonesia hingga saat ini. Kasus Mpox di Indonesia pertama kali dikonfirmasi pada Agustus 2023.

Secara rinci, kasus terkonfirmasi di DKI Jakarta sebanyak 59, Jawa Barat 13, Banten 9, Jawa Timur 3, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 3, dan Kepulauan Riau 1.

Dari jumlah tersebut, sebanyak 87 kasus telah dinyatakan sembuh.
